Mara Reinstein is a professional lecturer, teacher and frequent talk-show guest. (And yet, she still doesn’t enjoying talking on the phone. Go figure.) She often appears on national live radio shows — both terrestrial and satellite — as well as numerous podcasts to sound off on all things cinema and entertainment.
Mara teaches the popular blog writing and non-fiction creative writing courses year-round at the prestigious Gotham Writers Workshop in New York City. She lectures at local book stores and recently taught a private two-day writing seminar for Wal-Mart executives. Additionally, she does speaking engagements about The Reel History of Modern Women in Cinema at Brooklyn Brainery and for other women’s organization around the country.
Thanks to her quick-thinking interviewing skills, Mara also moderates Q&As at special screenings and various film festivals, including the Savannah Film Festival and the Detroit Free Press Film Festival.
